1969 Dodge Super Bee.
Have a close look at this one I found while searching Kijiji. Why can't everybody have a good ad with some great pics like this one. Well done Adam. Not to mention the car seems like a nice project with an exceptional colour combo of A4 -Silver Metallic with a red bucket seat interior and a black bumble bee stripe. I think I would just have to go with a red stripe myself...maybe even reflective just to have a bit of fun but the black stripe would look just fine. To top of a fun project this is a 383 4-speed car. I really can't see this one lasting long. And I am really looking forward to seeing this once great Mopar back out on the road!
Here's the ad:
1969 Dodge Super Bee WM23H 2 door hard top, original 383, 4 spd car. Has original fender tag and clean ownership/title in my name.
Comes with a rebuilt 1969 383HP Magnum, .030" over, new pistons, bearings, STD crank, mild cam etc. The car originally was a 4 spd, it had an auto in it last time. Comes with nice console and complete automatic shifter. The original 4 speed hump in the floor is still there and untouched.
It originally a 383HP, 4spd, silver exterior, red interior, black stripe, bucket seat car.
Has bondo in quarters, left rear frame rail rough, hole in drivers floor, passenger rocker rusted, BUT has great trunk lid, doors, fenders, hood, grill, drivers rocker, glass, pretty complete interior, bucket seats, console, tail panel, most of the floor, etc, etc. Has 8-3/4" rear with 489 case. Driveshaft and headers in the trunk.
It's a great project and a way for you to get in the Mopar Muscle car world at a real world price. When people ask you, "is that a clone?" You can honestly reply "it's a real deal Super Bee!"
I bought it to build it, but I have other projects going on, this one is sitting (inside of course). I thought you might like to work on it this winter so that's why it's for sale. The price is $5000. Please no texts, sleds or boats!
