1970 Dodge Challenger Hemi RT/SE
Ok I know it has almost been 5 years since I have updated these pages but I thought I would start back up with a bang. Its a Hemi Challenger RT/SE with a longtime owner in Ancaster Ontario who decided to put it up for sale in December 2012. It didn't take long to sell. Advertised price was $75k Canadian and it sold for $60k. Went to Iowa USA.

For sale is my brothers 70 Hemi Challenger RT SE Automatic

This is the first time since 1975 that this car has ever been seen or offered for sale
My brother is the second owner of the car
It was taken off the road in 1976 due to the car burning some oil.
Only 60 RT SE Hemi challengers were ever produced 37 automatics and 23 Four Speeds
what makes this car so rare is that only 4 ever made it in to Canada
The options on this car are super rare including power windows leather seats 6 way adjustable seat
original B5 Blue car
98% of the car is all there
it will need a total restoration
Rear frame rails are not bad but will need some work floor is not too bad either but does require a few small patches
there are new NOS Fenders for it as well as a NOS rear quarter
The Engine had one sleeve installed
includes new power forged pistons as well as other engine parts
Transmission is a little damaged from sitting on the ground for years

Pretty good ad. the car looks pretty solid for sitting, came with a bunch of NOS parts. Kevin L. even remembers seeing this at a small used car lot on King St in Hamilton in 1975! Hard to believe some of the local guys have been eating, sleeping, working and dreaming about Mopars soo long.

It sure turned out nice and really over a short period of time. With all the talented Mopar guys in these parts its sad to see it go but its really hard to argue with the results!
