1969 Dodge Charger R/T SE.
This is an extremely rare MOPAR. No one really knows how many were produced, as there are no factory records. However, the "experts" suggest less than 30, but not that many have been identified. This car I'm sure, with it's rare color combination and rare factory options, is 1 of 1!
It is an M51 factory sunroof Charger R/T SE. It has the rare mid-year 1969 "HIGH IMPACT" F6 GREEN exterior, F8 green interior, white top and white strip. The car has factory air, power windows, power steering, 6 way seat, AM/FM radio, cruise control, tinted glass-all windows, variable wipers, performance axle package, sure grip rear end, special dress up group I, front disc brakes, power brakes, leather interior, 440 HP, automatic transmission, F70 X 14 red sidewall tires, 3 spoke woodgrain wheel, magnum rims and trim rings, Hemi suspension package, dual horns, undercoating, door edge moldings, drip rail moldings, wide sill moldings, wheel lip moldings, belt moldings, deluxe bumper guards, max cooling package, tic tac toc, etc.
The car is also a DEALER DEMO coded car. As you can see, it would be hard if not impossible to have a more highly optioned Charger.
This car was purchased by a dealer in Dallas, sold and went to California, sold again and went to New Mexico. It has been in my barn in Missouri ever since. That stated, the car has very little rust. In fact, the only rust visible is around the back glass, trunk pan, and the front floors have a couple of holes to patch. I disassembled the car three years ago to take to the body shop for restoration, but here it sets. The car is complete, and I have purchased a few NOS items in addition. I do not have the original block. The tranny and rear end are original. I do have another '69 Charger R/T block, HP2, to go with the car. The car really needs a WARRANTY BLOCK.
What a great find! I personally love sunroof cars and this one is the right colour F6 - Bright Green Metallic. I would make a substution from the fender tag and change the interior to white! Does it get any better than this??? Anyone have a sunroof Mopar they want to get rid of let me know...please!
