This was my 1968 Roadrunner which I had purchased in 1972 here in Edmonton, AB. The first pic shows it tricked out in its pearlescent paint job. It was real cool at the time as the car changed color with different levels of sunlight. It was a 383 auto on the column bench seat car. Went like a scared rabbit. Your right, in those days guys tricked their cars out to look different, original was not even in a car guys vocabulary. The second pic is of the same car painted back to its original bright blue metallic color in 1973 however added the painted on white rear stripe and flat black hood. The girl beside the car at the time was my girl friend and later became my wife. We have been together for 38 years now and have had a few Mopars over those years and today still love cruising together in our 1970 Challenger T/A. The T/A is an original 1 of 118 Canadian sold cars, having been sold new at Columbia Dodge in New Westminster, BC. Gotta love an original CANADIAN car. Love your web site.
