September 2009 Mopar of the Month is this 1970 Chrysler HURST 300! Wow what a great looking example of a very rare and classy breed. Depending on who you talked to they only bolted together 502, 501 or 485 of these cars in 1970 as a joint venture between the HURST Corporation and Chrysler. What makes this one a bit more unique is that it has the console and floor shifter. Only about 10% of the production run came through with that option. Pretty weird considering that HURST is best known for its shifters and this one uses a production unit while most of the other HURST's were column shifters.
It doesn't get any better than this if you are after a factory luxury hot rod and its always been on my wish list of Mopars to own. I've always wanted the ultimate Mopar Cruiser!!!
