A rare opportunity to purchase, what is becoming, a truly rare, museum quality vehicle. This 1970 440 Six Pack Challenger R/T started life in November 1969, after its conception by Patricia & Henry Werner. Their intent was to obtain the A.H.R.A.“Showroom Stock” World Record. After obtaining their first record setting season in 1970, (Freemont Raceway) the graphics were introduced to the Challenger in time for the ‘71 season. They continued to campaign the car till the end of the ‘75 season, at which point the Werners went there separate ways. The car was obtained in 1997 by myself (4th owner) with just over 9,000 miles showing. Mother’s Mopar II is a very original vehicle looking for a serious purchaser! This car is #’s matching with the exception of the transmission, which is a early built Rossi unit using a manual valve body and period correct B&M shifter.
